Our Warranty

Backwoods Boats stands behind our boats and we warranty to any original owner that we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any hull found to be defective due to a manufacturing defect at no cost to the original purchaser for the first five (5) years. After 5 years, any repair due to a manufacturing defect will be made at a cost not to exceed $500 per incident to the original customer for the Lifetime of a Backwoods Boats aluminum boat.

This warranty applies to the boat hull, welds, and workmanship. This warranty does not cover the engine, electronics, wiring, trailer or any other aftermarket product. Paint, specifically, has no warranty. Any warranty claims on products sold, but not manufactured by Backwoods Boats will be the responsibility of the original equipment manufacturer. Electrolysis or corrosion are not covered under warranty.

Shipping charges to and from a Backwoods Boats location or an authorized dealer, are the responsibility of the customer. All other obligations or liabilities, including loss of use, inconvenience, commercial loss and consequential damages are hereby excluded. The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to any products that have been subjected to an accident, adjustment, improper installation, misapplication, misuse, modification, neglect, repair, including but not limited to improper maintenance, salt water corrosion, or use of unauthorized parts or attachments.

Before returning any products, you must first contact a Backwoods Boats Customer Service Representative and request an RMA (Return Material Authorization). Products returned without obtaining an RMA will be rejected.

Warranty repairs will be made by Backwoods Boats or an authorized dealer.

Note: Warranties will not be honored without original receipt of purchase. Except for the expressed warranty of Backwoods Boats set forth above, Backwoods Boats grants no other warranties, expressed or implied, by statute or otherwise, regarding Backwoods Boats, its fitness for any particular purpose, its quality, its merchantability, or otherwise. In no event shall Backwoods Boats be liable for any special, consequential, or other damages for breach of warranty. Backwoods Boats has the right to change the design of our products at any time without any obligation under this warranty.
